This is so simple and cute! I knew I'd use felt but liked your idea of the darts to make it look more like petals. I'm making a large daffodil one for my 9-month-old Newfie pup tomorrow for a Daffodil Festival Pet Parade this Saturday. Already ordered large pieces of orange and yellow felt from Amazon as I'm still dealing with an awful cold so didn't feel like heading out.

Thank you for this! I made these with my Mom many many years ago. I found a bunch of tulle but could not remember exactly how we made them. I searched for other videos but they were not the same. This is EXACTLY how we made them. Thank you so much for sharing and Grandma is very cute!

My aunt makes these for family and church every year. Love them. I also use as a vegetable brush, lint and pet hair removal, cleaning threads from my Olfa cutting mat, dishes, glass shower doors, cleaning my glass top stove, and more. Goes right in the wash machine if needed. I look forward to getting new ones each year, but they really last a long time with plenty of abuse!

Can you please make a step by step video on a flare maxi dress for overweight people? Really overweight people...😔 I've watched many tutorials on RUclips, I don't get it. Mostly, the part where they mark measurements after they lay the fabric on the floor (4 yards), then they fold it in a square, then a rectangle after that. At the top of the rectangle, they measure for the neck and armholes - that's where I get lost. I also need to make sleeves to the elbows for obvious reasons. I greatly appreciate your help with this.❤

I have a skirt (light pink) I ordered that's too small, I'm wondering how well this would work with black or purple stocking material on the sides. I think it sounds awesome but wtf do I know. What shape are you cutting? How long is the piece? You can singe the edges with a candle if it is polyester. It won’t burn and it won’t fray.
